A revolution for drummers. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, Drumstik has solutions for you. A must-have app!
The essential tool for modern drummers, whether you are a beginner, advanced, a pro, or even a teacher!
The software that instantly transcribes grooves, no matter where you are!
Drumstik works with a MIDI protocol. This digital protocol connects an electronic instrument with a musical software via a cable. The app detects playing thanks to this connection and because the instrument can trigger sound.
It all comes down to communication between software and instrument. Reaching the same result with an acoustic drum kit relies on finding THE solution to replace the cable.
To date, there are no protocols which can link acoustic drum kits with a software. So Drumstik developed its own solution. After an intense year of technological research, including AI and machine learning, our sound recognition prototype is taking shape! No connection is needed: the cable is simply replaced by your device’s microphone.
Currently, the prototype is only able to detect the three main elements of the drum kit: the kick, snare and hit hat. We now want to take this to a new level by teaching it to detect absolutely any kit and even the most extravagant of percussions! Help us turn this dream into reality by contributing to our Kickstarter campaign.
Have you ever wondered why it was so hard to find drummer-specific software? So has Julien! This is exactly why he decided to develop Drumstik!
Following 2 years of hard work, the project became reality: a first version of Drumstik was launched on Mac and iOS, for E-Drums.
Presented for the first time at the NAMM show in 2018, Drumstik immediately drew some considerable attention. There and then, both the trade press and professional drummers confirmed how beneficial Drumstik would be for the industry.
Following this success, Julien decided to build a team to bring this project to life and move it forward. The app is now developed for all drummers and aims to become Windows and Android-compatible.
Due to the success of the first version, Drumstik updated the app, with the addition of online courses and improving user-friendliness.
Here are the teachers you will meet in the app, at the end of the Kickstarter !
